For Earth Day this year, Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Society and Riley Park Community Garden collaborated with Choices Market to bring you Earth Day at the Garden. During this event, participants had the opportunity to plant a seed with Choices Full Circle Soil to take home and pick up a colouring page to drop off at Choices Market where they received a prize.
The event was a great success and since Earth Day, Choices Market has started Charity BBQs. On May 18th, Choices Kitsilano held a BBQ and donated all proceeds to Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Society (LMNHS). These proceeds go to help fund LMNHS programs and services.
