In collaboration with our partner, the Vancouver Fruit Tree Project (VFTP)

To celebrate and launch VFTP's 25th season, we would like to invite you to our Season Kickoff Party Thursday July 11th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. This is a great opportunity for existing, new and interested community members to connect and learn more about the organization as well as learn about local fruit. Light snacks and beverages will be available, if you have any questions or want to RSVP please contact coordinator@vancouverfruittreeproject.com.

Last year, the VFTP provided LMNHS with apples and other fruit gleaned from our neighbours fruit trees. The fruit would otherwise have gone to waste. We made apple chips and gave fruit to our LMNHS Food Distribution Program and other program clients.
