Sign Up required - you must register to participate. A work party led by our core garden team member. Limited numbers. Follow all Covid safety and protocols in place by our health authorities.
Volunteers must follow all Covid protocols provided by our PHO that includes sanitizing hands and surfaces, wearing PPE and respecting physical distancing.
We ask that the public do not stay in the garden when our gardeners are at work so that we can comply with physical distancing and maximum numbers allowed by our PHO for gatherings.
No dogs are allowed in the garden.
Volunteers are asked to bring your own tools and gloves. Snacks or lunches must comply with PHO guidelines on sharing food. When shared tools must be used, these are sanitized after use.
Any surface that is touched should be sanitized. These include: wheelbarrow and sprinkling can handles, compost bins, any part of the watering system such as turnoff valves and nozzles.
The garden is a food security project of Little Mountain Neighbourhood House. This is a communal garden. Volunteers share the work and the harvest. Produce is also grown for the LMNH programs and community members who need it.
