Our Community Garden signed on as a Farm Folk/City Folk Citizen Seed Trail partner. Selina Pope, our Green Team lead was inspired after participating in a webinar and signed us up! We will keep you posted on what this means in the garden and our activities. Excited to be a partner with Farm Folk/City Folk on this important initiative.

Volunteer: Donation Station at Riley Park Farmers Market
Volunteer at the Donation Station. We ask shoppers to donate produce and funds; and farmers to donate produce for our food distribution program. Every Friday at the Neighbourhood House we have a ‘super market’ setup and provide food supports for those who need extra help at this time. Our last food day at the House is on Friday, December 18. We want to provide more food at this time as we are closed over the holidays.
2 shifts: 9:30am - 12; and 12-2:30.
Email Joanne joanne_mackinnon@lmnhs.bc.ca and let me know which shift you prefer.
