This week in the Garden

This week in the garden, the last of the broad beans were harvested. To retain moisture and inhibit weeds, the broad bean foliage was laid on the ground, acting as a mulch. 

We had a good harvest and will definitely grow broad beans again!

Thank you to everyone who donated veggies to the Donation Station on Saturday at the Riley Park Farmers Market. This produce is going to help members in our community who need extra food support. 

As a reminder, the Donation Station will be at the Riley Park Farmers Market the first Saturday of every month.

Riley Park Farmers Market Donation Station

The Donation Station will be at the Riley Park Farmers Market this Saturday July 4th from 10-2PM (located at the exit of the market).

Support those in our community who need extra veggies and food support by dropping off donations.
