The work preparing the veggie beds continued, with another two now ready for planting.  The potato bed was also readied for planting by the School group later this week.  And after weeding, compost was added to the berry patch.  The vertical garden was emptied of the old soil from last year (which was added to the herb beds) and replenished with a compost/Promix blend, after which it was planted with small salanova lettuce seedlings - hopefully we won't have any more frost!  Further weeding was carried out in the herb beds, Winter pollinator border, the edible forest area, although more remains to be done. And finally, we were delighted to see so much  blossom on the Asian Pear tree in the Espalier Orchard; hopefully it will set and provide us with some pears later in the year!
