A beautiful sunny fall day, so we had another impromptu work party!

The compost bin was filled to capacity, dead foliage was cut down (whilst retaining hollow stems for overwintering insects) and the pathway outside the garden tidied up and swept.

We were surprised to note that there is a crop of figs on the tree that nearly died earlier in the year!
